  Friday 22nd – 24th March near Penrith. If you can get to Penrith I’m sure we can organise transport.

  The Herdwick Inn in Penruddock is holding 2 double room and two twin rooms for both the 22nd & 23rd. The bus to Keswick stops directly outside the pub, the grubs decent, the room rates aren’t mental (I can probably get a deal) and it’s my local (it wouldn’t mind the trade).
  It’s a good base to see Ullswater & Keswick’s grand for a leisurely bar crawl, with the added attraction of Derwentwater.
  I would request, if we choose this venue that we all temper ourselves with a modicum of caution.
  Pooley Brigde works for me too, but the bus service’s crap.
