The DT Letters page carries this missive from former MP, convicted fraudster and all round shitbag, Denis Matyjasek (aka Denis McShane):-
SIR – Philip Johnston quotes Dickens on “the mob” – but he might have cited Sir Lewis Namier, who described 18th-century England as governed by “an aristocracy tempered by riots”.
If the 700,000 who marched in October against Britain amputating itself from Europe had worn yellow vests, attacked the police, set cars ablaze or thrown smoke bombs perhaps someone might have paid them some attention.
They were, however, polite, friendly and provincial; and so the pro-Brexit elites at the top of the Tory and Labour parties completely ignored them.
Denis MacShane

I have attempted to place a below the line comment on the letters webpage:
Why does the DT publish letters from once prominent ex-convicts? Corrupt ex-MP Denis Matyjasek (aka Denis McShane) lost his right to be heard on two counts. As well as his conviction for expenses fraud, he was also the Labour MP for Rotherham who supported efforts by the Labour led council and police authority to silence exposure of the Pakistani Rape Gangs preying on and pimping vulnerable underage girls.
Only to see the autocensor bot kick it off into the ether.
The following two attempts also failed:
Wasn’t Denis McShane the Labour MP for who supported efforts by the Labour led council and police authority to silence exposure of the sex abuse and pimping vulnerable underage girls?
Wasn’t Denis McShane the Labour MP for Rotherham who supported efforts by the Labour led council and police authority to silence exposure of the sex abuse and pimping vulnerable underage girls?
Anyone else had similar problems?
